Crazy In The Rain
Camped this weekend. We ate most of our meals at the park restaurant, which is why I’m not weighing myself again for at least two weeks. And that’s all I’m saying about that after these two words: French Toast.
Attention Ignorant Campers: If you hang your lantern from a tree, the tree DIES. That is why each campsite has a POLE with a HOOK on it.
It was very cool and very, very rainy this weekend and -- so sad -- I don’t have my WoolEase Camping Shawl done yet. I was working hard on it this week and about Thursday night I discovered I didn’t have the right amount of stitches for the eyelet row pattern to work as written. It had worked fine each time prior so I assume I have the wrong number of stitches. May have to rip back.
This is what my shawl might look like when it’s done, only greener and heavier

Worked on my cranberry Lorna’s scarf while I was at the campsite. Also need to finish my cranberry Kidsilk Haze lace scarf. Don’t know why I haven’t completed either of those two things yet and I need to clear some space in my workbasket. I’ve finally picked a project for the yarn I bought on eBay this week and I want to be ready for it when it arrives. More on that later.
