Victorian Ruby
Finally finished this up over the weekend (I got this yarn for Christmas and started it immediately.)

“Victorian Ruby” was designed by Jane Sowerby and the pattern is from the Winter 2004 Knitter’s. I used Rowan Kidsilk Haze, just like the sample, but I got Liqueur (burgundy) instead of Candy Girl (hot pink.) Mine didn’t come out as big as it was supposed to be. I guess I had some Unrecognized Gauge Problems going on. It’s still a nice size for a scarf. And I had a lot of the second ball of yarn left over; it will be nice to carry along with something else for a tam come winter.
I’m still in the mood for lace, but blocking this left me a little sick of the Haze; I had thought maybe I would start a Birch shawl when Ruby was done, but now I think I’ll start something with the merino sock yarn I just got from Knitpicks. Not sure yet.
