A Mostly Good Witch

I wore my Landscape Shawl to the Harry Potter party.



And I carried a #10 Brittany walnut knitting needle for a wand. A young Harry I talked with was mighty impressed by it, I tell you. I wish I could have gotten better pics of the kids in their costumes, but they all came out too dark. There was a little girl Dobby who was the CUTEST. We played games and drank butter beer (which tasted like yellow punch) and ate cookies (which tasted delicious.) My friend Donna, the local bookstore proprietress, had assigned me the task of reading the trivia questions (the winners of each question got a random Bertie Botts bean; they had to then guess what flavor.) I don’t think I did too bad a job.
