I Don't Have TB

But I do still have a little bruise on my arm from my TB test. And, what with that test and all the other ones they did on me, by Wednesday I should have documents attesting to my being healthy enough to take care of a child.

Most of our forms are done, too. Sent off our fingerprint cards that we made a couple weeks ago and our passport applications. We've had our Couple Interview and our home visit. Our social worker (who is Very Nice) DID NOT look under the bed, but she did look in the closets, in the garage, in the basement and she counted our bathrooms.

In two weeks, we go down to the home office for our Individual Interviews. There is a yarn store just a couple blocks away from the office where I can kick around while Husband is on the grill, and I've already been sorting through my stash finding patterns and yarn for baby things. I've started a sweater: Queen of Hearts from the Rowan Treasury. It will be a year or more before she gets here, but I don't think it is bad luck to be knitting baby things already.
