I Was Not Cut Out To Be A Superhero
How do I know this? Simple: I cannot maintain a secret identity. I have now been in three swaps for Knit the Classics and I have prematurely revealed my name to my swap pal twice. The most recent time was this goofiest; I sent her a note and just signed my name. I didn't even realize it until an hour later, when I was sitting on the couch, knitting along, and suddenly it popped into my head: hey, I signed that note with my own name. Jeeesh.
I'm not sure I'm cut out to be a quilter, either, but I'm taking a quilting course Saturday so we should know for sure after that. I don't know why, but knitting and crochet feel natural to me in a way that sewing does not. When I have tried to sew garments, I have always ended up doing nutty things like sewing a wrong and right side together, or cutting the pieces out with the fabric nap upside down. It's maddening.

I'm new to the sewing business myself - and it definately feels different to me. Much different than knitting or crocheting.
